A page from a hospital diary kept by Philip and Kathryn Jones from Canterbury, Kent. Their son Finn was born to parents Philip and Kathryn at Evelina London Children's Hospital with a pre-diagnosed condition which required a life-saving, five-hour heart 'switch' operation to be carried out within the first two weeks of his life. The operation, which took place when Finn was 10 days old was successful, however, due to other near fatal complications the his recovery during the subsequent six weeks was slow and difficult.
