One of the world's leading literary lights, Canadian author Margaret Atwood,  pictured at the Edinburgh International Book Festival where she read exclusively from an unpublished set of stories about Nova Scotia. The three-week event is the world's biggest literary festival and is held during the annual Edinburgh Festival. 2008 was the Book Festival's 25th anniversary and featured talks and presentations by more than 500 authors from around the world.
