A monk picks apples in the orchards of the Benedictine monastery of Pluscarden Abbey, Moray, where people of all faiths and denominations come from all over the world for retreat. The abbey was the only medieval monastery in Britain still inhabited by monks and being used for its original purpose. It was founded in 1230 by King Alexander II, and it was also a retreat for people of all faiths.
