Political activists from the Yes Scotland campaign for Scottish independence, in an apartment block in Slateford, Edinburgh during canvassing ahead of the forthcoming referendum. The campaigners were part of the campaign to persuade people to vote for Scotland to leave the United Kingdom. On the 18th of September 2014, the people of Scotland voted in a referendum to decide whether the country's union with England should continue or Scotland should become an independent nation once again and leave the United Kingdom.
